Keeping up to date on changes to legislation and case law is extremely important for advisers to ensure that the advice provided to clients is accurate and up to date.

Advisers in your organisation should undertake regular training to update their knowledge and skills. Additionally relevant publications should be available for advisers to check that the advice they are giving is accurate, to refer to relevant legislation or look up information for problematic cases.

Subscribing to regular journals will also ensure that advisers receive regular updated information on relevant changes, which may affect the advice given to clients.
